About the Studio

Hi there! Welcome to the online home of the Smurfit Nutrition Studio. Founded in 2011, we are UCD Smurfit’s only student-run nutrition society.
The society is funded by its membership fees and the UCD Societies Committee.
​
The studio aims to engender an appreciation and enjoyment of healthy eating, no matter what your lifestyle, dietary requirements or budget is!
​
To do this, we host live cook-alongs, informative lectures, mixers, tasting events and club nights on a weekly basis.
Since Covid-19 kicked in, we have moved a lot of these events online, so you can still feel like you're in the studio from home! We also post recipes and helpful blog posts here on this website.

Meet the Committee
CAOIMHE O'CONNOR
Auditor
Caoimhe is the most organised of our committee, making her the perfect fit for our top job! She studies Digital Marketing and is our resident expert on all things gluten-free.
LAINEY DIXON
Treasurer
Lainey is our financial expect and the mastermind behind our legendary tasting events. She studies Digital Marketing (as well!).
ROBYN NEILAN
Food Secretary
Robyn studies Digital Marketing and even has her own foodie instagram. She's known as Nigella Lawson in the studio because she writes all of the amazing budget friendly (and healthy) recipes on our website!
AOIFE CREGAN
Events Secretary
Aoife ALSO studies Digital Marketing and LOVES food. But best of all, she is our resident smooth talker - making her the perfect woman to rangle our celebrity guests.
SALLY BERGIN
Social Media Manager
Sally studies Digital Marketing (yes, we're all from the same course ok? 😂) and is the online voice of the Smurfit Nutrition Studio. She's a protein bar connoisseur and is currently attempting to make the studio go viral on TikTok. Fingers crossed it works!
