Start your day right with this delicious and healthy Nutty-Banana Overnight Oats! This no-bake recipe takes only 10 minutes to prepare and is the perfect go-to for a nutritious and easy breakfast in the morning.
Ingredients: (2 servings)
85g rolled oats
340g milk of choice (my favourite is almond milk)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 large, ripe banana, mashed
20g favourite nuts (my favourite are walnuts)
30g honey or agave syrup
optional: peanut butter, nuts &/or extra fruit to garnish in the morning
Method:
To your favourite mason jar or airtight container add in your mashed banana, rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder and toasted walnuts.
Top with milk of choice, agave syrup and stir.
Close top with lid (or clingfilm) and give it a good shake to ensure everything is well-mixed.
Place in the fridge overnight or leave set for at least 6 hours.
The next morning you can add additional toppings such as, extra fruit (chopped banana or berries), peanut butter and more walnuts… Enjoy!!
